The Foraker is a full brim cotton bucket hat that is one of the best outdoor hats you can buy. It is made of 100% cotton and features a UPF 50+ sun protection rating - the most protection available.

The full brim with a matching color underbrim blocks out sun glare, eyelets to allow heat to escape, and an adjustable chin cord to keep it in place on those windy days. Fully crushable and packable, this hat is perfect to go with you anywhere your adventures may take you!

UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) Rating System

The UPF rate indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed by the fabric. For example, a fabric with a UPF rating of 50 only allows 1/50th of the sun's UV radiation to pass through it. This means that this fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure by 50 times (98% UV block) in areas where the skin is protected by the fabric.

The table below illustrates the different UPF protection ranges and the percentage UV blocked. Kanut Sports products are all tested by independent laboratories and are built to be UPF 50+.
